Title of the sharing: Essential Communication Skills for Future CareerDuring the company visit of Disneyland, an outstanding executive, Ms. Lana Wong, Director, Communications and Public Affairs of the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, will introduce students to the fundamentals of communications and provide practical insights into how HKDL structured its crisis response during COVID‑19. Lana will also share her personal experience as a real‑life example to inspire students as well as helping them to connect theory with practice. The presentation will include interactive and video contents to enhance engagement.

As Director, Communications and Public Affairs of the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Lana Wong plays a leading role in building, enhancing and protecting the reputation of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in support of the company’s goals and development. She oversees the strategic development and implementation of communication, stakeholder engagement and community programs, as well as issues and crisis management.
Lana has extensive experience in journalism and media relations. She started her career as a journalist with the two leading English-language newspapers in Hong Kong − The Standard and South China Morning Post. Subjects she covered ranged from political news, social and security issues, to business news in Hong Kong and mainland China.
