Delivered by Ms Cindy Choi, Chairman of Association of Geoconservation, Hong Kong (AGHK)

Cindy has been serving AGHK since 2007, starting as the Convener of Publicity and Public Relationship and was elected to become the Vice Chairman in 2013, and later on taking up the position as a Chairperson. During these years, her main works include assessing the viability of establishing a geopark in Hong Kong, organizing talks, workshops, trainings, conferences and designing the Hong Kong Geopark stamps. Collaborating with other colleagues and NGOs, she closely monitors and comments on geo-vandalism and adverse impacts of projects on geoheritages and landscapes. She also represented AGHK to speak in various international and local sustainable development, geotourism and geoparks conferences. Currently, she is an Accredited Geopark Guide of Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark and consultant of Leiqiong UNESCO Global Geopark.
