HR students taking the subject of BHMH2133 staffing and selection were invited to participate in HR Consultant talk delivered by Mr. Alexander Ng who is a Product Director of CAL Talent Solutions. He has over 10 years of experience in talent assessment and development consulting.
Through several case studies shard by the HR consultant, students would understand how organizations utilize the psychological measure of personality test, cognitive ability test, interest and values inventory for personnel selection and talent management
Before the seminar, all students filled up an online survey provided by the guest speaker to discover the most important aspects of their own values, career interests and resilience. In this seminar, the HR consultant also introduce how to utilize the inventory results for personal growth in these three areas: A.Strength and weakness B. Stress management B. Career develoopment - finding the right jobs or organizations which could match their own values and career.
