During the company visit of Disneyland, Mr Derek Lee, Integrated Facility Planning and Portfolio Manager at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, shared his practical experience and knowledge of negotiation skills to achieve better results in business setting. The sharing of Disneyland’s executives could definitely widen HKCC business students’ horizons and help them understand how to apply the negotiation theory in real-life practice through their exposure to a distinguished international company. The sharing of the Disney’s executive could inspire students to apply negotiation skills for problem solving that is essential for students’ personal growth.

Bio of Mr. Derek Lee
Mr. Derek Lee is the Integrated Facility Planning and Portfolio Manager at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, overseeing asset and show sustainment planning, and annual large-scale rehabilitation program of over 100 projects for HKDL each year. Prior to this role, Derek was the Manager of Forecasting and Planning at the Revenue Management and Analytics team, overseeing resort attendance forecast and revenue for the 4 main business units (park, hotel, f&b, merchandise). Apart from Engineering and Commercial Planning, Derek also serves as a Wellness/Mindfulness teacher in HKDL. He has conducted over 100+ wellness sessions on site, as well as special mindfulness and wellness workshops at the 2023 & 2024 HKDL Wellness Month.
