Description
1.To help HR students to meet new friends, four WhatsApp groups were set up and managed by group coordinators.2.To help students overcome their learning difficulties and adaptation to college life, the sharing of study strategies and time management were provided by stage-two students and programme leader during the Freshman Seminars in semester one and two.
3. Disseminate updated learning support information (e.g., Revision centre for buddies, English enhancement workshops or CSAO activities) and effective study habits through WhatsApp group and HR programme MOODLE.
4. Incorporate experiential learning, simulation and professional talks in three HR DS compulsory subjects: Fundamentals of HRM, Staffing and Selection, and Training and Development. Students were fostered to know the association between theories and practices in the workplace.
5. Collaborated with other 8C108-ABUS programmes, to conduct interactive workshops and equip students with business knowledge and essential soft skills
6. Organized subject registration sharing session for stage 1 students. •The stage two HR students share the important notes, tips and guidelines for selecting elective subjects. This may help stage one students to choose the right elective subjects which could fit their ability and interests. Favorable students responses were received for this seminar (eSAQ average around 4.2)
7. Organized Non-Jupas application seminar for stage 2 students. Sharing from HRM graduates in 2021 about their valuable interview experiences and effective strategies. Very favorable students responses were received for this seminar (eSAQ average around 4.7)
