In this programme talk, I would discuss: (1) the importance of human resources management for organization and the strategic role of HR professionals in achieving organisational goals; and (2) how the compulsory courses of HRM programme equip students with basic knowledge of human resource management and analytical skills. The academic studies of HRM programme help students understand how HR managers help companies attract and retain talent, provide training and attractive compensation to employees, and assist employees in managing their career development.
