Activity: Other

Description

Tedious work in coordinating the large subject group and large student size.

For example:
Demonstrated good communication skills in coordinating 19 lecture groups of 1,320 students taught by a large subject team of 13 colleagues in Semester One, 2021/2022.

Provided constant training to new visiting lecturers (VL) who have not done any teaching before or not taught HKCC subjects before.

Successfully coordinated the smooth handover of teaching, e.g., when one of the full-time staff resigned and taught only Week 1-7 of Class A01 in Semester One, 2022/2023. Week 8-13 of Class A01 was taken over by a new VL.

Also, successfully coordinated the timely arrangements and announcement of class cancellation and make-up class for the VL caught COVID-19 and restricted from leaving premise by law during Semester One, 2022/2023.

Other special help to the colleagues are provided from time to time as necessary to ensure the smooth delivery of the subject.

Note: BHMH2004 contributes to 4 Cash Cows of the BCG Matrix (HM, NS, MK and BM Programme) according to Prof Warren Chiu (5/5/2022 CPCE Staff Meeting).
