Description
This three-day international forum is dedicated to exploring the latest frontiers in language aptitude research and its practical applications. Building on over six decades of inquiry into language aptitude theory, testing, and pedagogy (see Wen et al., 2019; Wen et al., 2023), the forum will examine how our understanding of language learning potential is being reshaped by cutting-edge developments in related fields. These include linguistics and applied linguistics, language education, psycholinguistics and cognitive (neuro)science, as well as behavior genetics and computer science/AI. By examining the theme through these multiple, interconnected perspectives, the Forum aims to foster a truly multidisciplinary dialogue.| Period | 28 May 2026 → 30 May 2026 |
