The School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED) was established by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) in 1999. PolyU SPEED, along with Hong Kong Community College (HKCC), is a unit under the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE).

PolyU SPEED offers a wide range of quality self-financed articulation degree programmes (also known as top-up degree programmes) in two-year full-time mode and four-year part-time mode, encompassing the field of business and other professional areas.  Graduates will be conferred PolyU-SPEED awards. PolyU SPEED has developed collaborations with Northumbria University’s Newcastle Business School and the University of London to offer articulation degree programmes and preparatory law courses respectively in Hong Kong. In addition, PolyU SPEED also offers continuing education courses on specialised subjects to working professionals.
