Personal profile

Dr Geeta Bhavnani has been in the field of education since 1997. Born and brought up in Hong Kong and being of Indian descent, she is a fluent speaker of Sindhi, Hindi, English and Cantonese. Her research interests revolve around identity and how identity and language are linked. She is keen to use her knowledge to further the understanding of the various Ethnic Minority communities in Hong Kong and overseas.
