Dr. Helen Yeh earned the Doctor of Education from the University of Bristol, where she conducted research on the effective framework of independent language learning with digital tools. Her research interests include independent language learning, computer-mediated communication, Bilingualism, language curriculum design, language teaching/learning, and business communication.

Dr. Yeh has published in various conference proceedings, books, book chapters and international peer-reviewed journals in the aforementioned areas. She is also a member of the editorial review board of the International Journal of Adult Vocational Education and Technology.

Dr. Yeh has extensive experience in teaching English, Business Communication, Bilingualism, Bilingual Education, Language Curriculum, English for Specific Purposes and English for Academic Studies at different levels in various tertiary institutions, and provided teacher training programmes at secondary schools and educational centres. She was in charge of the HKCC Self-learning Language Centres.

Dr. Yeh also enjoys engaging in public and community service, and has kept serving leadership positions at different organizations.
