Dr Pin Ng attained his MSc. degree in Management Science and Operational Research from University of Warwick, U.K. and M.Phil. degree in Software Engineering from The University of Hong Kong. He also received a Doctorate in Engineering from City University of Hong Kong. His research interest focuses on application of formal mechanisms in requirements engineering and he was awarded the Best Research Paper and Presentation Award in the 2007 ACIS International Conference on Software Engineering Research, Management, and Applications (SERA).
Dr Ng is also a qualified Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He had been appointed as a co-opted member of the Specification of Competency Standards (SCS) Review & Maintenance Sub-committee, under the Information and Communications Technology Industry Training Advisory Committee of the Education Bureau.
