Personal profile

Dr. Sau-chung Fu received his BEng and MPhil in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong in 1999 and 2001 respectively. After practiced for some years in an engineering consultant, he went on pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2011. He was a research associate in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a postdoctoral fellow and a research assistant professor in the HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School, and a research assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, HKU, and Department of Building Environment and Energy Engineering, PolyU, before joining CPCE, PolyU as a Lecturer. Dr. Fu's research focused on acoustics, thermofluids, aerosol, indoor air quality and energy efficient building, using numerical simulations as well as advanced experimental techniques.
