Dr Vincent Law is the Scheme Leader of the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) Scheme. He teaches social sciences, health studies, and management subjects. During February 2017 and May 2022, Vincent was the co-investigator (Co-I) of two research projects funded by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong. The first project titled "Establishment of Centre for Ageing and Healthcare Management Research (CAHMR)" of PolyU SPEED was under the Institutional Development Scheme (IDS) (project reference number: UGC/IDS24/18, December 2018 - May 2022). The second project titled "From Social and Environmental Accounting to Sustainability Accounting and Responsible Investment: Emerging Research Agendas" was under the Inter-Institutional Development Scheme (IIDS) (project reference number: UGC/IIDS24/B02/16, February 2017 - May 2018).
Before joining CPCE, Vincent gained substantial administrative experience from business or educational organisations, as well as research experience in public policy from a local think tank. He is interested in scholarly works related to public policy, health care, sustainability, and Chinese philosophy. He edited three books on health-related topics (primary care, sustainable development goal 3, and ageing with dignity) and is the author of the Chinese book series "Innovation from Ancient Thoughts" (與古為新系列) which attempts to apply Chinese philosophy or wisdom to the modern world.
