Empowering Student-Staff Partnerships(SSP) through Customised AI Chatbots: Enhancing Learning Across Disciplines

Project Details

Description

This project aims to enhance students’ digital literacy and promote sustainable educational practices by involving them in AI chatbot customisation. Through a Student-Staff Partnership (SSP), approximately 200 students, including student developers with the rest assisting in design and implementation, will engage in the bot development process.

The project will be implemented in three phases over one year. These phases include two rounds of bot development, plus 'evaluation and data analysis'. Our aim extends beyond building AI learning tools to contributing to the broader educational community by sharing insights and resources. Our ultimate goal is to enhance learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom, addressing challenges of academic integrity and promoting sustainable learning practices. The findings will be presented in a workshop.
