Abstract
Public engagement on land supply is a heated topic in Hong Kong recently. Ideas such as developing caverns and top-up development of Kwai Tsing Container Terminals inspire new forms of housing design typology. A group of design students are going to study the constraints of Hong Kong's situation, and consider challenges like overcrowding and land shortage as design opportunities. The exhibition aims to demonstrate a new vision on housing design for the future of Hong Kong.
