N2 - Student feedback is a good and effective indicator to enhance and provide evidence-based information that assists in the improvement for continued success and planning for the future. Student Activities Questionnaire (SAQ) to collect first hand personal feedback from participants on the effectiveness of learning experience through the activities. In this study, our study aims to investigate the response rate and amount of written comments using electronic SAQ (eSAQ) in different nature and theme of the activities. We have collected 1,588 questionnaires from the student activities in the academic year of 2016/17. The results showed that response rate of on-campus activity had a significantly better response rate than off-campus’. The effect of duration varied in different theme. Response rate was better in shorter duration activity in Contributions and Services, and Leadership and Communication theme, while response rate was high in long-term activity in Sustainability and Knowledge Enrichment theme. For word count, some theme had higher rate of word count but all the rates were not very high. Similar rate of word count was found in different written comment questions. As compared to last year’s, the response of written comment questions improved but the amount of content was roughly the same.
