Abstract

In recent years Hong Kong's logistics industry tends to slow down gradually although it still keeps the leader in freight industry comparing to its nearby cities. This research briefly reviews Hong Kong freight logistics industry; then it illustrates the function and working models of e-business in freight industry. By interviewing with professionals with in-depth interviews or seminar format, the research investigates how freight industry using e-business logistics to improve its operations generally in Hong Kong, the detailed suggestions are also discussed.
